Antalya Airport to Türkler transfer
Türkler is two places sharing one name. Along the shore, between Avsallar and Konaklı, runs a line of hotel blocks with their pools and beach clubs facing the sea; a few hundred metres inland the older village keeps its mosque, its tea house and its greenhouses up the slope. Guests who book a transfer from Antalya Airport to Türkler, 110 km along the coast, are almost always heading for the seaward half — but the village is what the place is named after, and it is close enough to walk up to after dinner.
The drive is D400 from end to end: 110 km, roughly 95 minutes. Nothing about it is difficult — Serik, Manavgat and Okurcalar go by on dual carriageway, and only near Avsallar does the coast start to fold. What is different here is the finish: the road runs through an unbroken built-up ribbon, hotel after hotel and block after block, where one junction looks much like the next. The highway is divided along the whole strip, so an entrance missed at speed means running on to the next turning point and coming back.
