Antalya Airport to Sorgun transfer
Sorgun sits in a pocket of umbrella pines a few kilometres east of Side, where the forest comes almost down to the sand. It is a resort area rather than a village: most of the land belongs to large hotels spread out among the trees, with shaded walking and cycling paths between them and the beach. Holidaymakers here tend to stay put, using the hotel for most of the week and heading into Side for the Temple of Apollo or the ancient theatre in the evening. The lake at Titreyengöl begins right next door.
From Antalya Airport the transfer runs 70 km east on the D400 coastal highway, past the Belek turnings and on towards Manavgat, which usually takes about 65 minutes door to door. The highway itself is fast and mostly flat; the character of the drive changes in the last few minutes, when the road leaves the main carriageway and threads through pine woods to the hotel gates. Summer afternoons can add time around the Manavgat junctions, while a late-night arrival is the opposite: empty road, dark forest lanes and a quick final approach.
