The way home starts on Evrenseki's village streets, which are quiet at dawn and fill up from mid-morning with dolmuş, delivery vans and guests walking to the beach. Once the car is back on the D400 it heads west past Serik and Aksu towards the airport, and the 59 km normally take the same 55 minutes as on arrival. In July and August the junctions around Aksu can slow things; allow a little extra on a midday departure.

Because the Palace and the Style stand side by side and share their facilities, guests often spend the last evening in whichever building has the activity they want. That changes nothing for the morning: the pickup is at the Palace entrance, at the hour fixed when you booked. If you are travelling with friends staying at the Style, one car can collect both groups, but say so in advance so the driver plans two stops rather than one.

• Work the pickup time back from your flight: 55 minutes on the road plus the check-in time your airline asks for, usually around three hours for an international departure in summer.
