Leaving Evrenseki costs very little time at the start. Two roundabouts and a slip road put the car on the D400 within a few minutes, and because that junction lies west of the Side turning, none of Kumköy's traffic stands in the way. Before dawn the village streets are empty; on a summer changeover morning the same roundabouts carry coaches working round the Evrenseki hotels, and that is the one place a few minutes can go. Westbound, the highway runs back through Gündoğdu, past Serik and the Belek turnings to Aksu and the airport road, and 55 minutes for the 59 km is the figure to plan around.

Most of the planning happens at the hotel end. With the private beach 150 metres from the building, swimwear, towels and sandals tend to be out until the last morning, so pack them the evening before and leave out only what you travel in. If someone in the party is on the beach at pickup time, the walk back is a couple of minutes, so ask for the car at the front entrance.
