Departure begins in the short Kumköy streets, which are empty at dawn and, by late morning, shared with the coaches doing the round of hotels as guests from both Miramare buildings and their neighbours check out at the same hour. Once the car has climbed back to the D400 at the Side junction, it is a straight run west through Serik and Aksu to the airport turn. The 60 km take about 55 minutes in ordinary traffic; on summer changeover Saturdays, leave yourself a margin on top.

Because the two Miramare gates are so close, the pickup request should name the building, and if your party is split between Queen and Beach, say so when you book: one car can collect from both addresses, provided the driver knows in advance to stop twice. With the beach right in front of the hotel, many guests spend the final morning on the sand. Keep enough time to shower, finish packing and settle the bill before the agreed hour, because the car comes at the time that was set and the road to the terminal does not get shorter.

• Count back from your flight to fix the pickup: 55 minutes of road plus the check-in time your airline asks for, and send us that hour when you book rather than on the last evening.
• Friends at Miramare Beach can share the car to the airport; give both addresses, 310. Sokak and 277. Sokak, at booking so the double stop is planned.
• With an evening flight, book the car for the hour the flight needs, not for checkout, and ask reception where the bags can wait in between.
