Olimpos to Antalya private transfer

Two quite different bookings share this direction. One is the end of a stay in the valley: bags carried out of a wooden lodge, the pension gate at seven in the morning, a flight or a city hotel waiting at the other end. The other is the tail of a day trip, and it runs the other way round the clock — the flames on Yanartaş are only worth the climb once the sky has gone, so the car leaves Çıralı at nine or ten at night with everyone quiet in the back. Walkers coming off a section of the Lycian Way make up most of the rest.

The hard fifteen kilometres come first here, and in the dark they are harder still: the lane climbs out of the valley in tight turns, unlit, the pines cutting out what light there is, and it takes the better part of twenty minutes to reach Ulupınar. From the junction it is plain going — the D400 runs north-east with the water on your right, Tekirova, Çamyuva, Kemer, then the ledge and the tunnels, Beldibi below, and the plain opening at Konyaaltı. 80 km and 70 minutes altogether; after dark that figure is reliable, while on a summer afternoon it is the Kemer hotel frontage that stretches it.

  • An early flight means leaving the valley before first light, and the climb to the D400 is the only unlit part of the journey — allow ten minutes more than a daytime start.
  • The lodges stand along one lane behind a row of similar boards, so agree the meeting point the evening before and leave the bags where a car can reach them.
  • Say at booking if the return is an evening one after the flames: a nine o'clock departure from Çıralı is a different arrangement from an afternoon pickup.
  • If Antalya means the airport rather than the city, name the terminal — at the end of 70 minutes it is the difference of another ten.
