Alanya to Belek private transfer

Belek was built around two things Alanya has no room for: championship golf and very large resort complexes set back in the pine belt. The courses lie between Kadriye and Boğazkent, tee times are fixed weeks ahead, and a round means leaving the eastern coast early. Families make the same 95 km for the theme park and the water parks on this stretch, or because the second week is booked into a Belek resort while the first was spent in a town with streets, a market and a castle. The Roman sites are on this side too — Aspendos and Perge are far closer to Belek than to Alanya.

The D400 does the whole job. Out of Alanya it lifts onto the cliffs above the sea, passes Konaklı, Avsallar and Okurcalar, then takes the newer inland section that cuts through the middle of the leg before dropping to Manavgat, where the town crossing and its lights are the first real slowdown. The Side junctions follow, then Çolaklı, Kızılağaç and the flat farmland behind Serik, and finally the turn south into the pines. Around 1 hour 20 minutes for the 95 km. The last part is resort access road — barrier, gate, long private drive, sometimes a coach in front of you.

• A tee time or a park opening sets the pickup, so work backwards from it and add the approach: the final kilometre behind the gate is slower than the 95 before it.
• Golf clubs travel like an extra suitcase each, so say how many sets are coming and a vehicle with the boot space is sent.
• The driver meets you at your Alanya hotel reception with a name sign; for the Belek end give the resort name and the district, since Kadriye, Belek centre and Boğazkent have entrances kilometres apart.
• If you are returning the same evening, agree the return pickup when you set out rather than at the gate afterwards.
