Evrenseki is a village first and a resort second: a centre with a mosque square, a bakery, a pharmacy and a row of small restaurants, and a short walk in any direction to sand. The hotels are mid-size and scattered rather than stacked, and most guests get around on foot or by dolmuş. The village sits between Side and Kumköy, with the ruins a short way east along the same shore. At 110 km it is close to the outer edge of what Gazipaşa Airport realistically serves.

At 110 km and about 95 minutes this is closer to two hours than to one, and it is the distance rather than the road that needs planning. The highway is left past Manavgat at the Side junction, and the last stretch runs through the village itself, on narrow lanes shared with pedestrians, delivery vans and the dolmuş. Side lies east along the same shore and Kumköy west, so once you are here the two nearest places of any size are a walk or a few minutes away rather than another transfer — part of why people accept the drive in.

• Plan the 110 km as a journey rather than a hop: water in the cabin bag, no tight connections, and a break in Alanya, which sits about halfway.
• Side is a short way east along the shore — walkable in the morning, a dolmuş ride once the afternoon heat sets in — so a day at the ruins needs no second transfer.
• For the flight home count the full 95 minutes as driving time and add your airport margin on top; the 110 km are the part of that day that cannot be shortened.
• Ask to be dropped at the mosque square if your hotel is in the lanes behind it, because the streets there are narrow and the car may not reach the door.
