Leaving, the car winds back through Kumköy and rejoins the D400 at the same junction, then turns west for Serik and the airport. In the early hours those first couple of kilometres take almost nothing; in the evening, when the quarter's streets are full of people heading out, they are the slowest part of the trip. At night and at dawn the 62 km fits the 55 minutes well, while on summer afternoons the coaches heading for the terminal and the lights around Serik and the airport approach cost time.
