Heading home, the car covers the short stretch of local road and rejoins the D400 westbound, and from that point the order of the drive matters. The first part is the run back past the Kızılağaç junctions, then the southern side of Manavgat, where the town's own traffic gathers from mid-morning. Only after the river does the road settle into the long, steady dual carriageway past Serik and Aksu. In the early hours none of it costs much time, and 70 minutes for the 83 km is a sound figure outside the busiest summer days.

At this distance the pickup hour deserves some care. The car leaves a resort towards the eastern end of the Manavgat coast, so a fifteen-minute delay at the gate is a fifteen-minute delay at check-in. Settle the bill and hand back the room keys the evening before if reception allows it, and be at the main entrance a few minutes early with the bags.
