Antalya Airport to Best Western Plus Khan Hotel transfer
Best Western Plus Khan Hotel is a city-centre hotel in the Elmalı quarter, set on a short one-way side street just off Kazım Özalp Caddesi, the pedestrianised shopping street that locals still call Şarampol. Walk south for about 250 metres and you are at the clock tower by Kalekapısı, where the lanes of Kaleiçi begin; the Mevlevihane and the old bazaar are both closer still. Hadrian's Gate is roughly half a kilometre away. There is no beach at the door: this is a hotel for the old town, the shops and the tram stops.
The transfer is 17 km and takes about 25 minutes. From the terminal the car joins the D400 heading west and stays on the city boulevards until the centre, where Antalya's one-way system takes over for the last few blocks. Because Şarampol itself is closed to traffic, the car never pulls up on the street the hotel is known by; it comes round by the side street instead, where Best Western lists free parking on site. In the evening rush the final few blocks can take as long as the whole boulevard run before them.
