Departure starts on the same quiet residential streets the car came in on, and the hotel sits close to the shore, so the first minutes are spent climbing back up that road to the D400 junction. In the small hours that road is all but empty; on a summer morning around nine it carries the coaches collecting guests along the Evrenseki strip, and a short wait at the junction is normal. Door to terminal, the 59 km run takes about 55 minutes, the same figure as on arrival.

The beach being so close makes a last swim easy to fit in. Many guests check out, leave luggage at reception and spend the final hour on the sand, which here costs no travel time at all. The thing to plan is not the beach but the changing: ask whether a room or the spa changing area can be used after check-out, so that you get into the car dry and with sand left behind rather than carried to the terminal in your shoes.
