Leaving reverses the arrival, and it starts with the quietest part. Before dawn the lanes between the promenade and the D400 carry little more than staff minibuses, so the car is on the dual carriageway within minutes. The 59 km west to the terminal then follow the same road past Serik, the Belek turning and Aksu, and the 55 minutes hold well outside July and August, when the lights at the larger junctions add a few minutes from late morning onwards.
