Antalya Airport to Kumköy transfer
Kumköy is the long sandy stretch running west from Side town, blending into Çolaklı further along the same beach. Where Side is built around its ruins — the Temple of Apollo, the ancient theatre, the harbour lanes — Kumköy is almost entirely hotels: rows of all-inclusive properties set back from the sand, with shops, bakeries and small restaurants on the road between them. The sea shelves gently here, which is why the beach fills with families. Manavgat and its waterfall lie a short way inland, and Side's old centre is close enough for an evening out.
The drive from Antalya Airport runs east on the D400, past the turnings for Belek, through the farmland around Serik and over the rivers that come down from the Taurus, before the Side junction sends you south to the coast. To Kumköy it is 62 km and usually about 55 minutes. The highway itself moves well; the slow part is the end, where every car, minibus and coach heading for this strip funnels through the same few junctions on a summer changeover day. Late-night arrivals have the road largely to themselves.
