Check-out is at 12:00. With an evening flight that leaves an afternoon to fill, and the resort offers two ways to spend it: a late check-out, charged and subject to availability, or its Comfort Zone, with showers and somewhere to rest once the room has gone. Either way, book the car for the moment you actually want to leave and give reception the same time, so that the bill is settled and the cases are at the entrance before the driver arrives.

The drive back is the arrival in reverse: along the shore at İskele, past the edge of Belek town, west on the hotel road behind the Kadriye resorts and north to the D400, then west past Aksu to the airport junction. Count about 35 minutes for the 35 km. Because the resort is open all year, departures from here are not only a summer matter; in winter the roads and the terminal are quieter, but daylight is short, and an early-morning pickup in January is a drive in the dark.

• Make sure the return booking lists the child seats too, with the children's ages; they are free, but the driver brings only what is on the booking.
• From a villa or a Lake House family suite, allow for the walk to the main entrance with the cases; on grounds of 110,000 m² it takes longer than it looks.
• Settle the bill and hand in the room cards before the car is due, because the driver waits at the main entrance and the time on the booking is when the drive begins.
