Antalya Airport to Boğazkent transfer
Boğazkent sits east of Belek, at the point where the Acısu stream reaches the Mediterranean, and it has stayed noticeably quieter than its neighbour. Instead of a wall of large resorts there are mid-sized hotels, apartment buildings and a few seafront cafés, with farmland and greenhouses beginning a street or two inland. The sand along this part of the coast belongs to the protected zone where loggerhead turtles nest, so building and lighting near the shore are restricted. The village suits couples and families who want a low-rise, unhurried stay within easy reach of Belek.
From Antalya Airport the road east is the D400, past the Belek turn-offs and the farmland around Serik, before a secondary road drops down towards the coast for the final stretch. Count on about 45 minutes for the 45 km: the highway section moves quickly and the terrain is flat, so it is the village approach that sets the pace at the end. July and August bring queues around the Belek junctions in the late afternoon. After dark the run is clear, though those last kilometres are poorly lit, which makes an exact address worth having.
