Antalya Airport to Bodrum transfer
Bodrum is a city built around a castle. The Knights of St John raised it on the neck of land between two harbours, partly from the stone of the Mausoleum of Halicarnassus that once stood behind it, and white cube houses climb the slopes on either side. Beyond the centre the peninsula runs on to the west, where Gümbet, Bitez, Yalıkavak and Türkbükü each do something different with the same coastline. Bodrum is not on the Antalya coast at all: it faces the Aegean, and the 435 km transfer from Antalya Airport to Bodrum takes you from one sea to the other.
Nobody books this leg for the pleasure of it. Bodrum has its own airport at Milas, and the drive exists because a ticket and a holiday ended up pointing in different directions. Once the road turns inland behind Antalya it stays there: hours of high farmland, then Muğla, Yatağan and the olive country around Milas, and only at the very end the peninsula road and the water again. Without stops it comes to about 5 hours 35 minutes, and almost nobody does it without stopping. Plan half a day with a proper break in the middle rather than a hop between resorts.
