NovaMall Manavgat opened in May 2016 under the name Novada Manavgat and now trades as Novamall. It stands on the Antalya–Alanya highway, right beside the town's bus station, and its design was inspired by the ancient peninsula of Side, which is exactly where this ride begins. From Side it is a hop of 5 km, roughly 15 minutes, and it begins by turning away from the sea. The car heads inland through the newer streets that have spread over the land between the old town and the main road, then joins the D400 for a short run east. The centre stands just off the highway on the western side of Manavgat, so there is no river to cross. The booking is for this one way, at one fixed price for the whole car, and the return can be sorted out in the same booking, either as a collection at an agreed time or as waiting time. On an evening out, settle that return first: say roughly when you will be done and where you will wait.

• The centre has moved its closing time several times over the past few years, so look up the hour that applies now on its website, which goes by the name Novamall, before you settle on a late pickup.
• A quick supermarket run suits a car that waits, whereas a film and then dinner suit a car that returns at the hour you name; mention which when you book.
• Side's old town on the peninsula is largely closed to ordinary traffic, so if you are staying inside it, agree a pickup point the car can actually reach and buy no more than you can carry from there.
• For a rented apartment, give the name of the complex and the block number as well as the street, so the car with your shopping stops at the right entrance.
