Antalya Airport to Finike transfer
Finike is a citrus town before it is anything else: orange groves begin where the greenhouses end, and the fruit has carried the town's name around Turkey for decades. On the water there is a marina where sailors overwinter, a long palm-lined promenade, tea gardens and a beach that never quite fills up, even in August. Ancient Limyra lies a few kilometres inland with its rock tombs and ruined theatre. The transfer down from the airport brings boat owners, winter residents and travellers heading west along the Lycian coast — a steadier, less seasonal crowd than the resorts behind it.
From the airport the road is the coastal D400 the whole way: the ring road, Kemer, the forest pass after Tekirova, the descent through the Kumluca greenhouses, and then a flat final stretch with the sea on one side and orange groves on the other. The 130 km take about 110 minutes, and the demanding part is behind you well before the end. In winter the pass can be wet and the pace there drops, while the run into Finike stays easy; in summer nothing on this section holds a car up for long.
